The Film SF Alliance is committed to restoring San Francisco’s place as a world-class center for film and media. We bring together filmmakers, civic leaders, educators, and community partners to build a thriving ecosystem that attracts global productions, empowers local talent, and celebrates the city’s creative identity.

We support storytelling that reflects the diversity and spirit of San Francisco while creating pathways for jobs, education, and innovation. Through collaboration and advocacy, the Film SF Alliance works to ensure that film continues to enrich the city’s culture, strengthen its economy, and inspire the next generation of creators.

Vision Statement

Our vision is a San Francisco where film and media flourish as vital parts of the city’s identity and economy. We see a creative community supported by world-class infrastructure, equitable access to opportunity, and strong partnerships between artists, industry, and government.
